More about roofing
Roofing changes and repairs require prior written approval from the Crystalbrook board before you can start on your project. Submit an Architectural Request form (ARC) to info@capartners.net.
Roofing materials must conform with standards established by Four Seasons’ Homeowners Association:
Cedar shakes: Above-average quality — medium to heavy shakes.
Composition dimensional shingles: Must be approximately 350 pounds per square weight or heavier with an appearance, style and color that falls within the spectrum of a cedar roof from new to aged shakes.
These composite roofing materials are preapproved for use on Crystalbrook roofs:
CertainTeed Presidential: Approved colors — Autumn Blend, Shadow Gray and Country Gray
Pabco Paramount: Approved colors — Oakwood and Weathered Wood
GAF Grand Sequoia: Approved colors — Autumn Brown and Weathered Wood
GAF Timberline Ultra HD: Approved colors — Mission Brown and Weathered Wood.
If new technology produces additional roofing materials, the Four Seasons board of directors may approve those materials for use.

A couple more things about roofing
If your home’s roof has a break or a valley, you can replace it with cedar shake or composition materials. With today’s roofing technology, it’s possible to split a continuous roofline with a divider that allows one home’s roof to remain cedar shake and the other’s to be composition.
If one home replaces a roof with composition, all other attached homes are required to use roofing materials in the same color as the initial roof. If a color is no longer available, the new color must closely match the initial roof.
And, again, replacing or modifying a roof will require an ARC approved by the Crystalbrook Board of Directors.
