More about painting

When your home is scheduled to be painted, you’ll receive notification from our property management company. There are several steps you’ll need to take to ensure our painters can complete your home in a timely manner:

  • Select a color for your siding, trim and doors: You’ll receive several preapproved Sherwin Williams color palettes from CAP. If you live in an attached home, meet with your neighbor(s) and mutually decide to (1) keep your current color scheme; (2) choose a new palette of existing colors; or (3) submit a completely new color palette of Sherwin Williams colors. New color palettes must be approved by the Crystalbrook Board of Directors by submitting an Architectural Request (ARC) prior to painting.

Once you make a selection, select one neighbor to submit your ARC with the color palette/paint names you’ve chosen. However, ALL neighbors must sign the ARC. AND be sure to specify the colors to be used for your siding, trim and doors. Send ARCs and color choices to

    E-mail: info@capartners.net

    FAX; 503-546-3401, ATTN: Crystalbrook

Mail: CA Partners, ATTN: Crystalbrook, 12190 S.W. First St., Beaverton, OR 97005

  • Front and back doors: For an additional charge, our painters will paint your front and/or back doors a different color of your choice. For this option, select a Sherwin Williams paint color and submit an ARC, including a paint sample, for board review and approval. CAP will invoice you for the cost of the paint and our painters will paint the door(s) for you.

Prep your home: CAP will let you know in advance when your home is scheduled to be painted. Prior to painting, you are responsible for:

    • replacing or repairing damaged siding

    • deck maintenance, including any painting or staining. This is not part of the HOA’s home painting service.

    • removal of storm windows

    • removal of vegetation, stacked wood, pots and other items along the sides of your home.

    • securing shrubs so they don’t obstruct our painters

Carport owners: Please park on the street or in designated parking areas until your home is painted.

    The painting company will:

    • power wash the siding of your home

    • caulk as needed

    • mask windows and fixtures permanently attached to your home

    • apply two coats of paint to your home, trim and doors

    • paint previously painted gutters
