Board member duties

The Crystalbrook Board of Directors is composed of five members: President, Vice-president, Treasurer, Secretary and Member-at-large. Their duties are defined in the HOA’s Bylaws. These include:

President

  • chief executive officer of the HOA

  • presides at all meetings of the HOA and Board of Directors

  • has the general powers and duties that are usually vested in the office of president

Vice-president

  • acts in the place and stead of the president in event of his/her absence

Treasurer

  • keeps full and accurate accounts of receipts and disbursements

  • monitors monies and valuable effects in the name of the HOA

  • provides the HOA’s property management company with oversight and review regarding the HOA’s budget

Secretary

  • keeps minutes of all meetings of the board and HOA

  • helps manage book, papers and records of the HOA

Member-at-large

  • represents the interests and concerns of homeowners in general
