About your ballot and proxy votes

Submitted ballots and proxy assignments both help to establish a quorum at Crystalbrook’s Annual Meeting:

  • Secret ballot: If you know the candidates you want to vote for: (1) fill out the secret ballot, (2) place it in the secret ballot envelope, (3) place the secret ballot envelope in the return envelope provided and (4) sign the outside of the return envelope. Return your ballot (now sealed in the secret ballot envelope) to our property management company by the deadline indicated, using the return envelope provided. This completed ballot counts toward a quorum. Note: Do not fill out the proxy form.

  • Proxies

Option 1: This proxy option allows Crystalbrook homeowners who have not voted by secret ballot to assign their vote to a neighbor or the board president for the purpose of establishing a quorum only.

Option 2: If you want your proxy to vote in your place, he/she must attend the Annual Meeting. This proxy assignment allows him/her to vote on any issue at his/her own discretion, including the election of board members.

  • To assign a proxy: (1) fill out the proxy form, (2) indicate your proxy assignment — neighbor or board president — and (3) sign and return the proxy form in the regular return envelope (not the secret ballot envelope) to our property management company by the deadline indicated. Make sure your envelope is signed! Your signature counts toward determination of a quorum. Note: Do not fill out the secret ballot.
